Michael Janney sweeps the weekend at COTA
Michael Janney took a flag-to-flag victory in race 1 & 2 of Rounds 3 and 4 of the season in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup NA Esports Series. Nick Janney finished in a respectable 8th in race 1, and 5th in race 2. Michael now leads the championship with a small gap to second place.

“For the first time in Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup history, the track was wet for the entirety of the sixth round of the 2025 championship season at Fuji Speedway. With the iRacing Weather System on display on Saturday afternoon, the added challenge to an already intense series became keeping the car on track without sliding off or into other cars.”

“For the second year in-a-row, the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Mid-Season Tournament delivered on action and entertainment, this season contested at the Sachsenring this past Saturday afternoon. While some of the biggest names in the series didn’t even make it to the Feature event, it was a former champion of the series—Team Indian Racing Festival by APPL’s Jordan Caruso—who scored the TAG Heuer Pole Award, a Heat race win, and victory in the Feature event.”

Michael and Nick Janney qualified into the Toyota Gazoo Racing North America (TGRNA) GR Cup eSports League for their second season in a row. Qualifying 1st and 23rd respectively, they will prove to be tough competitors for the upcoming season!

2025 PESC Round 3 (Spa) Recap
“Over the weekend, the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup returned to Belgium for the third round of the 2025 season. Last contested back in 2023, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps hosted 30 of the best sim racers for the usual Sprint and Main race dance on Saturday afternoon, with Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing scoring both Supercup victories with both of their drivers.”

Having logged over 4,000+ hours on the iRacing simulator and raced at the top level, I also offer coaching. Whether that be simulator-based, or real-life, I have extensive experience in both and can offer top-quality guidance.

Actively working towards a Bachelor’s in IT & Management, while dedicating hundreds of hours towards iRacing and perfecting my racecraft. As I chase my dream to race physically, I drive the #24 GR86 for PT Autosport w/ Copeland Motorsports in the TGRNA iRacing Series. I am also the head of operations for Janney Motorsports, and Michael’s media manager. Always hungry for competition and eager to learn from my mistakes!
